There's nothing better than getting to rock up to crag with a mate who knows the local area. You get to just climb instead of trying to figure out whether this is Impact Wall or Compact Wall and why there are only 3 bolts on route number 10. That's why we're offering this epic week of climbing in Sicily...plus the great weather, inside knowledge of the best spots, and yummy food of course.
You can boulder or sport climb or both depending on whatever takes your fancy that day.

ARRIVAL
You'll touch down at Trapani or Palermo airport where your awesome host will pick you up in his flaming 9-seater van and whisk you away to the quaint village of Ummari, about 45 mins away.
You'll be staying in the middle of the Sicilian hills in a stunning little renovated farmhouse B&B. It's the perfect spot to hang out after a day at the crag, with a barbecue, hot tub, outdoor yoga area, climbing and bouldering wall and even a pole dance pole if you're still feeling lively!
ITINERARY
The week's itinerary will be decided on a fairly relaxed, day by day basis. Some climbing spots shine in dry weather and others are suitable for other conditions, but don't worry - there'll be heaps of opportunity to hit the rock every day. There'll be a mixture of Bouldering, Sport Climbing and if the weather allows some Deep Water Soloing too! If you fancy a rest day, no probs, there's plenty of local beaches to soak up the sun and villages to sample the cuisine and get your history and culture fix.
A day on your Sicily week might look like this:
7-9 am:
Wake up, enjoy Auntie’s Gio's home-baked breakfast, and slowly get psyched for the day.
9 am - Sunset:
Rock til you (safely) drop!
We'll head to the crag of the day, stopping to pick up some Arancini for lunch. This is Sicily's specialty... deep-fried risotto balls with ragù and cheese. Name a better post climbing lunch?
The climbing will differ each day depending on the weather and what the group wants. You might find yourself sport-climbing on 7km of bolted red and orange crags by the coast in San Vito Lo Capo or bouldering on the sandstone in Bosco Scorace. If everyone can swim, we'll hit up some deep water solo spots too!
If the weather isn't great or you fancy a rest day, the local hot springs are a great place to unwind. Otherwise, Trapani and Marsala are great for sightseeing, wine tasting and long-lunching.
On a sunny day, San Vito lo Capo beach is unforgettable, scattered with crystal clear coves and rock formations to explore and swim through.
Evening: Happy hour beers, handmade pasta dinners, chill out in the hot tub and kick back with your new mates.
Try Sicily's infamous Busiate alla Trapanese, fresh fish and other local delicacies such as cannoli, cassata, and Pasta di Mandorla! Then chill out with your new friends with a spot of yoga or even a go on the climbing walls.
