Communication prior to booking our adventure was 10/10. Our guide was punctual, knowledgable and super friendly. I found him to be a cross between Bear Grylls and Ben Fogle.

You'll arrive in the adventure capital of the UK, Fort William, in the early evening and meet your fellow ski comrades for a beer and a briefing. If you need to rent equioment, you'll be fitted for that before enjoying a group meal together ahead of all the adventure.
The Nevis Range has been compared to Canada and Scandinavia for it's wide slopes and world class routes, and on a clear day you'll even have views stretching to the Isle of Skye and Ben Nevis. You'll get those ski legs back as you race around the park having a ball and high on the fact that you're skiing epic trails in the UK.
In the afternoon we'll head off-piste and do some proper Scottish ski touring, with the help of your guides to teach you about skins and bindings.
A morning or learning how to read avalanche forecasts, how to use transceivers, probes and shovels and how to deal with an emergency avalanche will set you up well for the backcountry ski day. In the afternoon we'll let off some steam on the slopes and get some serious adrenaline kicks in.
Tying together everything that we have learnt so far, it's time to head off for a day of backcountry skiing! We'll hike and ski up to the top of Cairn Liath and work our way across the plateau and after stripping our skin, rip our way down the first descent for lunch. after a sit down with a view, it's time to enjoy our last descent of the trip, a beauty of a ski down Creag Meagaid.
Time for one last dinner together before heading off and dreaming about your next Scottish ski touring adventure!

When the snowfall is good, the Nevis Range is a world-class ski resort compared to Scandinavia and Canada. There's little tree cover, which means wide open slopes and a mix of hard packed snow and powder. Expect stunning views across to Ben Nevis and the Isle of Skye on a clear day.
