Take your weekend adventure to a whole new level of mind-blown with this epic two-day summit and ski tour (ski mountaineering) to the most formidable Alpine peak: Mont Blanc. Jutting out amongst other jagged summits and glacial beauty, Mont Blanc is the highest peak in Europe and offers some of the best views around. In just 48 hours you’ll pack in the most spectacular summit of your life, epic views, some great Alpine meals, test a whole set of skills and a significant tick off the bucket list. Oh, and that’s not mentioning the marmots, lizards, and Ibex you might meet along the way.
Day 1 : Chamonix – Grand Mulets Hut 3051m
We’ll take the cable car up to Plan de l’Aiguille (2310m) in the morning and from there tour up to the Grand Mulets hut. Prepare for spectacular views, your first taste of Alpine air and plenty of laughs along the way.
Ascent: + 800m, Night at Grand Mulets hut (3051m)
Day 2 : Grand Mulets Hut – Summit – Chamonix
Summit day. An early start to tackle the technical ascent of the Dôme du Goûter’s north face. We’ll don our crampons for a hefty 40º ascent before continuing over to Bivouac Vallot to the magnificent summit of Mont Blanc (4810m). Take it all in before skiing down to Plan d’Aiguille or Chamonix.
+ 1700m / – 2600m or -3500m
Depending on the conditions in the mountains and the abilities of the group, your guide may alter the route.
Must have very good physical fitness, advanced skiing skills and ability to cope at altitude. If you have some mountaineering experience and can ski very well, this one’s for you.
