LET YOUR
HASSLE FREE, fully guided
ADVENTURE BEGIN !
Make your way to the hotel for the 18:00 briefing. This is a great opportunity to meet your guides, team mates, and hear a bit more about the plan for your adventure. Don't worry if you're not going to make it - just let us know and we'll make sure you're briefed up next morning.
Post brief you'll be free to chill the beans ahead of tomorrows big challenge or trundle into town for a wee explore.
Dinner can be ordered in the hotel or there are plenty of eating places within walking distance.
Ain't no backin' out now!
We'll kick things off with a decent breakfast to fuel up for the day then it's off to start this epic challenge.
First up is the 19km cycle leaving the sea at Caernarfon to head forthe shores of Llyn Padarn (Llanberis Lake), passing the famous slate mines, rural Welsh farms, and the best scenery this wild country has to offer.
Cycing along the shores of Llyn Padarn, we'll catch our first exciting glimpse of Snowdon looming in the distance.
Once reaching the Snowdon Ranger Path it's time for a quick changeover off the bike and into your trekking get up, picking up your packed lunch. You and the gang will then pace it up to the summit having earned an unbeatable view (let's hope it's not raining!) from the highest point in Wales and England. On a clear day you can see four kingdoms, 24 counties, 29 lakes and 17 islands!
The Ranger Path is a lot quieter than some of the other routes up and passes beautiful lakes before climbing a ridgeline to the summit. There'll be time for victory photos and a breather before we descend the Llanberis path into Llanberis itself.
High on adrenaline, it's time for the grand finale - a paddle circuit of the glacial lake of Llyn Padarn - one of the largest natural lakes in Wales.
The final 2.5 mile kayak forms the final push. Emerging from the waters like Poseidon, glory is yours. Challenge completed! Now it's time for a celebratory tipple and lots of questioning to try to find out who's idea this crazy challenge was in the first place.
You'll most likely be pretty pooped after all that so it's a good idea to take a bit of a break before driving.
Did the Snowdon challenge, absolutely loved it. Guides were amazing as was the equipment and itinerary. Will be doing more in future. 12 hours of activity and a decent hotel room... Great value!
Thomas, Snowdon Challenge
Our group of 14 was a mix of experienced hikers and those who had never thought they could get up Snowdon. We did the Snowdon Challenge. The whole weekend was amazing. From the briefing on the Friday night to the finish on Saturday evening. The guides were brilliant and supported everyone to make it up the mountain. They never made anyone feel they were too slow or should perhaps give up. The whole team delivered a fantastic experience for everyone. Several members of our group had profoundly meanful experiences because they were able to get to the top of Snowdon with the help of the team. Packed lunch, bikes, helmets, kayaks, oars, you name it, it was provided. People who have never done an outdoor activity have said they cannot wait for the next one. Thank you to the whole team, it was brilliant.

Had a great day in Snowdon yesterday with the triple challenge, highly recommend Ben as a guide
Mick, Snowdon Challenge
Had the most amazing time this weekend completing the Snowdon challenge. Cycling, Climbing and Kayaking with the most spectacular views! The organisation was superb from start to finish and no stone was left unturned by the fabulous team. Special thanks to the team for giving the 10 of us some amazing lifelong memories. We are already looking at what next years challenge will be and would love to use you guys again. Thanks for having us
Michael, Snowdon Challenge
First trek with these guys yesterday, Snowdon challenge, absolutely great event run by a fantastic team, thanks guys for a super day and too James for being our guide
Hannah, Snowdon Challenge
We had a great day doing the triple challenge; biking, trekking Mt Snowdon and kayaking. The guides were helpful, organised and knowledgeable. Would thoroughly recommend, very good value for money and a great experience, thank you!
Tasha, Snowdon Challenge
The adventure was so well organised, the accommodation, briefing, equipment and by far the snacks and packed lunch was delicious. Sam, our guide was lovely, both helpful and encouraging. We couldn't of asked for more from you
Lisa, Snowdon Challenge
Amazing trip with memories to last a lifetime! Our guides motivated, uplifted, encouraged and pushed us to the point of outstanding self achievement!
Sarah, Snowdon Challenge
Our Snowdon Triple Challenge was a pleasure from start to finish. They made it very easy for me. I had help with setting up my fundraising pages, to finding the right hotels and to advice on the actual event itself. The communication was brilliant. During the event itself the brief was excellent and the Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and got us all through the challenge. The whole experience was fantastic and one I would definitely recommend.

Make your own way to the hotel in Llanberis or Caernarfon. Hotel info will be provided on booking. There is free car-parking available.
The nearest train station is Bangor. Snowdonia has an extensive bus service.
If you are planning to catch a taxi from Bangor train station to the hotel, please note the taxis only take cash payments
Most likely yes. Whilst this is a good challenge, it's mostly 'normal' people (not triathletes or the like) who join on this. And all but a handful manage to complete the full circuit each year. We're not saying that to add any pressure but to let you know that it's very likely you'll do it. It's not about setting any records here. We'll be on hand to offer support every step of the way.
There's a support vehicle for the cycle so you can always hop in that if you're really struggling. If the Snowdon climb is proving too tough you can just go back down. And as for the paddle there's always the option to just pull over to the side...or let your partner take over. Whatever happens you'll be fine. Don't let fear of a lack of fitness stop you. Better to have to tried and failed and all that. If you really want to get round you will.
Bike - approx 10 miles/ 16km - 723 feet/ 220m ascent & 591 feet/ 180m descent
Hike - approx 10 miles/ 16km - 3,100 feet/ 945m ascent & 3,478 feet/ 1060m descent
Kayak - approx 2.5 miles/ 4km
Snowdon's summit is 1,085 meters tall and there are loads of routes up to top. We take the Snowdon Ranger Path because it's quieter than some of the alternatives. It's also non-technical and fairly steady all the way up. Hundred of thousands of people summit Snowdon every year so if you're determined to make it you have an excellent chance of doing so.
Most definitely. More than half of those on our adventures book on solo. Lots of people will be in the same boat and you'll soon all be pals.
Yes, all our trips are for people of 18 years of age and older.
In a word, yes. Obviously all outdoor activities carry some degree of risk but it's very low on this one. We've carried out extensive risk assessments and have a highly training team of experienced Mountain Leaders supervising and ready to help out if needed. You'll get full safety briefings.
The last thing you want when doing a challenge like this is for it to be baking hot. Fortunately, summer temperatures stay pleasant at around 18-20 degrees on average.
Temperatures cool as altitude increases though so you can expect it to be between 3 and 10 degrees colder on the summit.
Of course. It's subject to availability but otherwise you're free to stay as long as you like. Why not extend your trip and explore Zip World, Adventure Parc Snowdonia or one of the nearby castles?
Yep, so long as there's availability. There'll be a supplement which will be confirmed on enquiry.
You can leave anything you don't need back at the hotel.
This is a great option. All the planning, logistics, and safety are taken care of for you and we've got loads of experience in running these for charity fund raisers
