ITINERARY

On this wild camping trip in Snowdonia, you’ll spend two days and two nights in the lesser travelled parts of the Snowdonia National Park, camping out in the wilderness and hiking its more remote mountains. You’ll have a chance to swim in mountain lakes, watch a sunset and, if the weather allows, even camp on a mountain summit.

This is a fantastic introduction to wild camping, something every adventurer needs to try, but we know it but can be a bit daunting at first. Join us on this weekend in Snowdonia for a fully supported introduction and a chance to share our favourite parts of this magnificent landscape.

REVIEWS

What adventures are saying...

Was the exceptional experience! Loved the morning view near the lake, Snowdonia is magical. All worth it!

Olga L, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Really great trip. Very well organized and our guide was fantastic. Beautiful countryside. I would definitely highly recommend this trip

Nicola R, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Rated with 5 stars, very much enjoyed the trip!

Vlad-wild-camping-snowdonia

the weather was absolutely dreadful. So the fact that I had an absolutely amazing time is all the more impressive!

Stephen, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Our guide is a brilliant 'host': chilled out yet knowledgeable and with everything very much under control, making for a fun few days outdoors and away from everything.

Emily, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Been to several trips in Snowdonia, Lake District and Scotland with these guys. Great and well organised weekends away, with a super community of like-minded people.

Adrienn, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Been on 4 trips (hiking in Snowdonia, rock climbing in Peak District, and wild camping in Cadair Idris and Lake District) and can't recommend enough, I've loved every single one of those trips. Love the small sized groups, the dedication and care of the mountain guides and the itineraries they take us. Fabulous hikes, fun times and lovely food and snacks too! Plus travel is always sorted for you so no need to worry about getting to the meeting point. Absolutely recommend!

Clara, Wild Camping Snowdonia

We've had two fantastic wild camping weekends in Snowdonia and Lake District with these guys. He's taken us on some amazing (sometimes challenging) routes and we've camped in some unbelievably beautiful camp spots. We've met some great new people too. It's the perfect way to get off the grid and have an adventure without the worry of getting lost or doing the usual busy paths. We will definitely be joining him (and hopefully Ben) again.

Rose, Wild Camping Snowdonia

was surprised how there weren't more ppl exploring this part of Snowdonia NP! The packed lunches, Saturday night pub meal and breakfast and Sunday afternoon cake stop were were all great - I struggled to finish all my food! Would definitely recommend them for weekend hiking trips from London - everything is organised from beginning to end for you, all you have to do is hike and have fun!

Kirsten, Wild Camping Snowdonia

I’ve been on 3 trips with them (tomorrow being my 4th), each and every trips has been such a great and wonderful experience. The trips are very well organised, our leader has a great attitude and is a reliable leader, I really enjoy my trips. The groups are small enough for him to pay attention to every person in the group. Keep doing what you’re doing and thanks for the adventures! Till next time

Bally, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Our leader and his team are stars. Love the small groups and off the beaten track trips. Three done so far and I will be back for more!

Jonathan, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Travelling back from superb weekend away. Would highly recommend joining him on any of his trips. Worth every penny!

Vivian, Wild Camping Snowdonia

I've been on two trips now with them and both have been stellar. We've been on some classic crags & scrambles in beautiful locations; the people have been absolutely amazing and the small group size makes it easy to get to know everyone; and the pre-arranged transport is a big bonus. He is an excellent leader - laid back but responsible. And the lunchtime wraps have been delicious ;-). Looking forward to a week in Scotland with them in the new year!

Poh-Khim, Wild Camping Snowdonia

I’ve done a number of weekend trips around the UK with this group and it’s become my favourite UK hiking group because: (1) the group size is kept small – maximum 8 plus the leader so everyone tends to get to know each other a bit better and its always easy to ask the hiking leader questions and get advice; (2) transport from London is included/ arranged for you (no travel uncertainty); (3) the destinations and routes are varied and interesting, and generally off the beaten track so you feel like you have the hills almost to yourselves and not just following a horde of tourists up a standard trail. Some of the routes have been harder than others but the leader has been great at guiding people and I have never felt totally out of my depth or unable to do a route because it was too difficult. Instead, I’ve been able to go up peaks and routes I never would have considered before. Also, he is really good at tailoring the routes to the weather at the last minute, to make the best of the conditions at any time. (4) Breakfasts and lunches (on the treks) are provided so we don’t have to worry about bringing or sourcing it. Can't wait for the next trip!

Assad, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Another fantastic weekend with them in Snowdonia. Absolutely loved it! He is a great company and a real people person. He's trustworthy, reliable, well-organized and well-prepared. He's a qualified and experienced mountain guide. He makes mountain walking and climbing so much fun. He's looking after everyone in the group helping people who need a bit more support and offering challenges to those more experienced and keen to test themselves. He makes it so easy by taking care of the accommodation, transport and food including delicious sandwiches and wraps for packed lunches. The leader knows the routes off the beaten track to give one a chance to experience the beauty of the majestic mountains away from the mobbed popular tourist destinations.

Izabela, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Having had no previous experience of hiking, i was put at ease by the knowledgeable and experienced guide leader. Two trips in and it keeps getting better, my confidence has grown, as has my love of the mountains. More trips are planned, do yourself a favour if your unsure and just do it.

Jason, Wild Camping Snowdonia

He takes small groups (up to 8 customers) into the mountains and arranges the transport, accommodation and logistics. Then the good bit. He’s an experienced mountain guide so he takes you on adventures. I’ve enjoyed many summits, wild camping, amazing locations, wild swimming and great mountain food. And on the way I have met so many excellent people on the trips. It turns out that people called to the mountains are almost always lovely.

David, Wild Camping Snowdonia

Have been on three trips (Wild Camping Snowdonia, Lakes District, Brecon Beacons) with them. After two years travelling all over Europe, would have to say these trips have been definite highlights! Our guide was friendly, evidently highly experienced and all the trips have been well-organised and fun. The groups are a good size, and a great option if you want to get away from the city. Highly recommended!

Trinh, Wild Camping Snowdonia

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
