ADVENTURE BEGIN !
On this wild camping trip in Snowdonia, you’ll spend two days and two nights in the lesser travelled parts of the Snowdonia National Park, camping out in the wilderness and hiking its more remote mountains. You’ll have a chance to swim in mountain lakes, watch a sunset and, if the weather allows, even camp on a mountain summit.
This is a fantastic introduction to wild camping, something every adventurer needs to try, but we know it but can be a bit daunting at first. Join us on this weekend in Snowdonia for a fully supported introduction and a chance to share our favourite parts of this magnificent landscape.
Meet from 6pm in London to catch the train to Snowdonia (included in the price).
We'll stay in a bunkhouse or local campsite tonight (camping during Covid-19 times).
We'll head out into the wilderness to explore the best this gem has to offer, traversing beautiful valleys, mountains and even a wild swim if you're keen.
We'll be wild camping under the stars tonight. Weather permitting, we might even camp on the summit ready for an epic sunrise.
Another day seeking out places less trodden before heading back to the train to ensure we're back to London for around 9pm.
Was the exceptional experience! Loved the morning view near the lake, Snowdonia is magical. All worth it!

Rated with 5 stars, very much enjoyed the trip!

the weather was absolutely dreadful. So the fact that I had an absolutely amazing time is all the more impressive!
Stephen, Wild Camping Snowdonia
Our guide is a brilliant 'host': chilled out yet knowledgeable and with everything very much under control, making for a fun few days outdoors and away from everything.
Emily, Wild Camping Snowdonia
Been to several trips in Snowdonia, Lake District and Scotland with these guys. Great and well organised weekends away, with a super community of like-minded people.
Adrienn, Wild Camping Snowdonia
Been on 4 trips (hiking in Snowdonia, rock climbing in Peak District, and wild camping in Cadair Idris and Lake District) and can't recommend enough, I've loved every single one of those trips. Love the small sized groups, the dedication and care of the mountain guides and the itineraries they take us. Fabulous hikes, fun times and lovely food and snacks too! Plus travel is always sorted for you so no need to worry about getting to the meeting point. Absolutely recommend!
Clara, Wild Camping Snowdonia
We've had two fantastic wild camping weekends in Snowdonia and Lake District with these guys. He's taken us on some amazing (sometimes challenging) routes and we've camped in some unbelievably beautiful camp spots. We've met some great new people too. It's the perfect way to get off the grid and have an adventure without the worry of getting lost or doing the usual busy paths. We will definitely be joining him (and hopefully Ben) again.
Rose, Wild Camping Snowdonia
was surprised how there weren't more ppl exploring this part of Snowdonia NP! The packed lunches, Saturday night pub meal and breakfast and Sunday afternoon cake stop were were all great - I struggled to finish all my food! Would definitely recommend them for weekend hiking trips from London - everything is organised from beginning to end for you, all you have to do is hike and have fun!
Kirsten, Wild Camping Snowdonia
I’ve been on 3 trips with them (tomorrow being my 4th), each and every trips has been such a great and wonderful experience. The trips are very well organised, our leader has a great attitude and is a reliable leader, I really enjoy my trips. The groups are small enough for him to pay attention to every person in the group. Keep doing what you’re doing and thanks for the adventures! Till next time

Should the trip be unable to go ahead due to COVID-19 you will have the option to:
-Change to a later date
-Move your deposit to a different trip
-Receive a full refund, no questions asked
Unfortunately campfires aren’t allowed as we like to leave no trace. That doesn’t stop you enjoying a brew under the stars though.
We’ll provide 1-man tents and can offer 3-man tents for couples or two people – or friendly groups of three.
Distances can vary and we may need to change the route during the trip, but expect typically a 3km night hike, 14km on day one and 10km on day two. Remember though you’ll be carrying a heavy pack over potentially rough terrain.
Yes, all our trips are for people of 18 years of age and older.
Unfortunately not for this trip.
