ADVENTURE BEGIN !
We’ll arrive at our base in Newquay at 6pm Friday evening before driving in convoy to the camp after we’ve met our instructors and fellow adventurers. We'll give you the low down on the weekend so you know what to expect.
The evenings agenda is up to you. Feel free to just chill out and relax under thestars or get involved in axe throwing, woodland games, giant jenga, and even some fire lighting skills... Top it all off with tales around the campfire, toasting marshmallows, or sipping on a cold one. Bring something for dinner if you haven't already eaten - or bring a pizza to heat in our new pizza oven - there's a supermarket close to our meeting point.
If travelling by public transport, please get in touch as we’ll be able to arrange a lift for you with either the instructors or your fellow adventurers.
We’ll head back into Newquay after a basic but filling camp breakfast ofcereals, fruits & tea/coffee for our first day of activities.
First off, it's time to get stuck into some wild swimming. Wild swimming is really taking off in the UK and Newquay is a great spot to give it a go, given it's well protected beaches, coves, & tidal pools.
Post swim, we'll have a quick break for hot drinks before jumping back in the water for an intro to surfing. You'll learn all about how the ocean works, and have a chance to catch some of Britain's best waves...don't worry though, it will be most peoples first time trying surfing so no pressure.
By now, you'll have worked up a good appetite so we'll go and grab some grub from one of Newquay's many eateries. After lunch and a bit of a stroll you'll have the chance to pick up some food and drinks for dinner tonight.
We'll then head back to camp (about 15 mins from Newquay) so you can settle into your bell tent before doing some yoga in our open-sided woodland barn. We can provide yoga mats but feel free to bring your own.
After yoga you can choose to play some games, stroll around the woodland a bit, or just chill out. We'll provide everything you need to cook, you just need to bring whatever you fancy eating. After food we'll pop the tea lights on and enjoy a few drinks around the campfire.
After a great sleep, we'll tuck into some breakfast before the morning yoga session which will focus on gently energising us for the day ahead and connecting us with the surrounding nature.
Suitably invigorated, we'll head to the beach for our final bit of wild swimming. Weather permitting, we'll find somewhere new to swim, building on the techniques learned yesterday.
After the swim it's time to say our goodbyes, for now.
Had an amazing time" "They were a really cool couple of guys who looked after us. We camped in the evenings with them too and that was a great experience. I hope we come back again sometime.

Just got back from one of their adventure weekends... instructors were a perfect mix of entertaining and encouraging, and the wild camp was stunning. Thanks guys!

Miscellaneous:
Wild Swimming – swimsuit, towel & a pair of flip flops. If you have googles & a swim hat bring these along too

The activities take place at a central base in Newquay, which is well served by a rail and bus network.
We meet at our base at 6pm Friday - it's roughly a 15-minute walk through the town from the train station. Newquay airport is a 15-20 minute taxi ride away.
The wild camping is located a short drive out of town - we can help you organise car sharing, or you can get a lift with your camping host
Nope, this is open to all levels including complete beginners (so long as you can swim of course...).
Yes. We can provide them but you're more than welcome to use your own if you prefer.
This is suitable for pretty much everyone so long as you can swim comfortably in open water. Feel free to get in touch and ask if you're unsure.
Groups are usually a mix of ages from 20s right through to 50s.
The bell tents sleep 3-4 people and if you're travelling solo you'll share a tent with like-minded adventurers. If you'd prefer to be on your own it's not a problem - we have tents available for sole occupancy at no extra cost. Be aware though that these are ordinary Vango tents rather than bell tents.
We normally kick off at 6pm Friday and finish up by 1pm on Sunday so you're not back too late.
It's a basic camp breakfast with cereal, fruits, tea or coffee so feel free to bring anything extra that you fancy.
You'll get to stay on our own wild campsite nestled deep in the Cornish woods on our private land.
We've combined the best parts of getting away from the crowds whilst also creating a base camp to play games, sit around the fire, without the faff of having to bring your own tent and mattresses.
You'll kip out under the stars in a bell tent already kitted out with air bed and pillow.
There's a covered community area to hang out, new gas showers and a composting toilet, so think of it more as wild glamping!
