I was nervous about the weekend - would I keep up/be able to swim far enough etc etc but had the most fantastic time and felt fantastic afterwards. lovely guys with brilliant local knowledge of locations, tides and how the weather can alter conditions

* Given we'll be swimming in the sea, the exact location of the swims can vary. Fortunately, due to the varied coastline we can always find fantastic spots whatever the conditions. Potential swims include : the world famous Kynance Cove, Cadgwith’s Devil’s Frying Pan and cave swim, any number of swims out of the fishing village of Coverack, Lizard Point (Britain’s most Southerly point), Church Cove (as featured in BBC’s Poldark series), Porthleven Harbour, a number of options lie with the stunning Helford river.
We'll meet at 10am outside the Regent Café (TR12 7NZ) on the Friday, before traveling in convoy to our first swim for around 10.30am. Location will be confirmed on the day depending on the tides and the wind but rest assured it'll be beautiful. We’ll then get some lunch in the local area, before moving on to take in a second swim at around 3.30pm at another, uniquely beautiful secluded cove. We’ll make a booking for dinner on this evening, for anyone who fancies it. Most likely we’ll have some fish and chips in the beautiful fishing village of Coverack.
We’ll meet at a designated point for 10am for our first swim, before getting some lunch and do a bit of exploring in the local area. We’ll then look to take in a second swim at around 3pm. We typically leave Saturday evening open so you've got the freedom to spend it how you wish, making the most of your time here.
We generally take a slightly longer swim on the Sunday morning, have lunch and then go for a nice relaxing wild dip in the afternoon to finish off a great weekend.

You can choose to organise your own accommodation or book a camper van from our partner.
Once your booking is complete we'll send you a confirmation email which will include a link to their site. You don't have to book with them, but it's a great way to enhance your adventure and provides transport to and from your trip.
If van life isn't for you, you can just book your adventure here as normal and then book whatever accommodation you fancy. Let us know if you'd like our recommendations.
The weekend will involve multiple wild swims so you'll want to be able to swim in open water for extended periods of time but you don't need to be a pro or even a fast swimmer.
You'll need to be able to
You don't need to participate in all of the swims. We can (and do) split the groups up sometimes, doing a longer and shorter version of each swim.
We will tailor things to the level of the group(s) so there's no pressure.
If you're unsure, just get in touch before booking.
The quick answer to this one is, no. We will take a look at the conditions and then decide where best to swim. As you'll see in the photos, we're usually swimming in flat, glassy, clear water so don't worry.
This will depend on the group and the conditions but swims are usually between 1km and 3km with a number of potential exits along the way if you're not feeling up to the whole distance.
Yes, all our trips are for people of 18 years of age and older.
We do our best to avoid the peak summer months which means it shouldn't be too busy on the roads if you're driving down.
Both buses and trains service Cornwall. Try Train Split for cheap train tickets. Megabus is cheap as chips and stops in both Penzance and Newquay - it even offers an over night service.
Ride sharing services like BlaBlaCar are a great option as they are cheap, fun, and environmentally friendly.
Newquay also has an airport with flights to and from a number of British and European cities. Given our commitment to sustainable travel, we'd highly encourage you to take another means of transport if possible, although we know sometimes flying is the only option. Whilst not a get out of jail free card, carbon offsetting certainly helps. You can read our piece on carbon offsetting for more info and recommended programmes. All our international trips are carbon offset.
