ADVENTURE BEGIN !
We've all been cooped up for too long. It's time to get out there and explore the mountains again. It's time for a challenge.
So how about this. You've got 12 hours to conquer the 3 tallest mountains in Yorkshire. 26 miles. 1,600m of vert.
Every man and his dog knows about the National 3 Peaks Challenge. But what's great about the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is that there's no long drive between peaks. This means more time out on the mountains and less time squashed in the minibus.
The beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park is home to some of the best countryside this awesome little island has to offer.
We know that some of you love pushing your limits and will approach this as a timed challenge whilst others will want to soak up the scenery and just enjoy being out and about. Either way we've got you covered. We purposefully bring several leaders along to make sure you get exactly what you want out of your weekend.
A hassle free quick escape to the mountains for the weekend. Yes please!
Meet at London Euston where we'll all hop on the train together and head for Yorkshire.
Challenge day! We'll take on this classic route, heading up Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, soaking up those lovely Dales views. Tired but buzzing, we'll head to a proper country pub for celebratory grub and drinks.
We'll have multiple leaders on this trip to cater for all abilities. So, whether you’d like to try for a super quick time or you’d rather take it easy and take in the scenery, we’ve got you covered!
We'll take it easy on Sunday after yesterday’s big effort.
It's a relaxed hike around Malham Cove and Gordale Scar - both well worth a visit in their own right - and then back on the train to London.
We should arrive at Euston around 9pm fully ready to take on the 'so what did you do over the weekend?' watercooler chat tomorrow morning.
I just got back from an incredible weekend hiking in Yorkshire. The guide is a great mountain leader with good knowledge of the local area. The trip was hassle free as he organised accommodation and transport from London. More importantly, he's a great guy and it was great to hike with like-minded folk. Thanks again!

This is a great group which I highly recommend. Going to the mountains with this guide is the best way to spend weekend, to escape from busy life in the City and feel greatness of Nature. He is well-qualified, caring and very helpful. The trip was not the easiest one from my experience but I felt confident, safe and brought wonderful memories and pictures!
Lena, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Having had no previous experience of hiking, i was put at ease by the knowledgeable and experienced guide leader. Two trips in and it keeps getting better, my confidence has grown, as has my love of the mountains. More trips are planned, do yourself a favour if your unsure and just do it.
Jason, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
I had an awesome weekend with them. We had a great team and saw some amazing views! Our guide is very passionate about the mountains and I would definitely recommend!
Lewis, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Our guides knowledge of the National Parks is infallible! He takes the time to explain everything properly and then off you go! The organisation is flawless and makes for a very easy weekend, where I definitely felt comfortable having my safety in his hands. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is uncomfortable going for hikes alone or who wants to try out more technical adventures.
Marine, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Excellent weekend, great selection of routes and really well organised. I'm looking forward to going on more trips!
Jess, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Amazing adventures. Awesome experiences, Memories that will last forever. A brilliant and professional guide who can bring calmness to a stampede of wildebeests. Every trip is so well planned - just turn up and be taken away to your dreams!
Dominic, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
"Another fine weekend away with them."" many blissful miles from London!"
Nick, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
The leader is a very responsible, helpful and friendly guy. The trip was very well organized and everything was perfect (e.g. the transport and accommodation arrangements, the yummy homemade lunch, fellow hikers, and the beautiful mountains). Thanks again!!!
Ziyu, Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Return train transport from Euston to Yorkshire is included plus transfers to and from the start by minibus.
The train leaves Euston Station Friday evening.
Absolutely. We provide tents, warm sleeping bags and sleeping mats free of charge. These are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and quarantined for at least1-week between uses.
We'll meet at London Euston Train Station and all hop on the train together. Train and transfer costs are included in the price. You can choose to meet us there if you prefer.
You'll need a moderate level of fitness for this one. We'll be hiking to the top of Yorkshires 3 highest peaks in 24 hours so you should be able to cover the distance. Don't worry if you've never done anything like this before though. We'll be there to spur you on. We walk at the pace of the slowest member.
No. There are a couple of rocky steps but nothing we would class as a climb or scramble.
Some ideas are provided in the supporting documents you'll receive after booking. We do suggest snacking whilst on the mountains as we'll only be stopping for short breaks.
Things such as nuts, cereal bars, granola, sweets, chocolate, energy bars are all good options.
You need enough food for around 12 hours but you'll ideally eat little and often so lots of snacks and things you can nibble on whilst walking.
2-4 litres depending on how much you think you may drink. There are some options to top up water en route but these can't always be relied on.
That depends on who you speak to. Pen-y-Ghent involves a little hands-on scrambling and the ascent of Whernside is short but steep. Many people find Ingleborough to be the biggest challenge as it's the last one when your legs are tired, plus you've still got a long walk back to Horton to finish.
Yes - return transport from London to Yorkshire is included.
Yes, all our trips are for people of 18 years of age and older.
