George just bloody loves a bit of adventure! Imagine someone who not only hikes up mountains for breakfast but also bikes across continents. Got a case of wanderlust? This guy's been to over 50 countries and comes back with stories that'll make your grandma want to go bungee jumping. But wait, there's more! George isn't just about the 'wow' factor; he's big on keeping Mother Earth smiling. You'll catch him speaking at sustainability gigs, inspiring the next-gen in schools about why climate change and adventuring go hand in hand. He’s not just walking the talk; he’s scaling cliffs and fording rivers with it. When he's not out becoming one with the wilderness (whatever that means…), George is your go-to guy for anything 'outdoorsy'. You'll find him dropping some outdoor knowledge bombs on the Call to Adventure platform or gabbing about his latest escapade on podcasts. Whether you're just getting started or you're an old hand at adventuring, George has the lowdown you didn't know you needed. So tune in! You think the adventure stops when he’s off the clock? Nope. George is your weekend warrior, a mountain fanatic, and the guy most likely to try kitesurfing while juggling fire (okay, maybe not the fire part). Weekends? You'll find him at a crag or up a mountain. Oh, and he’s also your go-to for gear reviews that tell it like it is.
Our go-to guru for jaw-dropping adventures and hands-on how-to guides – we're talking biking 14,000 km from Alaska to Panama, and 15+ years of hard-won outdoor experience people!
Founder of Call to Adventure – your ultimate pit stop for all things adventure
Loves telling tales on the stage, on our podcast, or around a campfire, advocating for sustainability and our planet's wild places.
George has a Master's and comes from a financial consulting background. He holds the CFA qualification, whatever the hell that is. But let’s face it, his Mountaineer Leader course was a lot more useful than his degree. He's continually expanded his skill set by doing independent studies in everything from sustainability to film studies.
With an unwavering commitment to adventure and our planet, George is on a mission: to ignite a sense of adventure in others, guiding them responsibly through nature's marvels (or something like that…). And to finally climb a 7a out in Spain (AKA British 7c), without cheating.
