Tackle the UK's highest mountains, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, with time to soak up the views. 1 peak per day with a night in a B&B between mountains.
The National Three Peaks is the best-known UK mountain challenge - climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales.
With this trip, you'll still be summiting Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon but you won't be rushed and you'll have time to really enjoy the journey.
Enjoy not endure sums this one up nicely.
You’ll be picked up at Glasgow or Warrington train station in the afternoon where you'll be driven to the start point of Fort William (feel free to meet your group there too if this works better for you) where you'll stay the night in a B&B and get to know your fellow adventurers and guide.
Rooms will be allocated on a twin-share basis - a single room is available for a supplement for £100 per night (just send us a message after booking).
There'll be a Q&A session and briefing before exploring Fort William, grabbing a meal and getting a good night's sleep for the day ahead.
The next morning, the challenge begins. Following a good breakfast, you’ll be taken to the base of Ben Nevis - your first peak. After pre-challenge photos, you'll be guided up to the summit of Ben Nevis.
The path is quite straightforward and climbs the mountain in a series of zig-zags. It does get steeper and rockier the higher up we go but don't worry - the guide is there to give you a hand if needed.
Once on the summit, we will enjoy spectacular views over the Scottish Highlands (weather permitting but we can offer up a prayer to the weather gods!) and a snack before returning to the minibus and being whisked off to Lake District.
The journey is around 4-5 hours. You'll stop at a service station so you'll have plenty of chance to stretch those legs and grab some snacks. Arriving in the evening, you’ll have time to rest up in your hotel and have a well-earned beer or glass of wine!
It's more of the same, a good hearty hiker's breakfast and a great day out on the hill! But this time with different views.
We'll use good paths to climb Scafell Pike - England's highest peak. The path does get rockier the higher we climb but it's still just a walk. Soak up the panorama of the classic Lake District peaks and enjoy a summit selfie before hopping on the bus to North Wales.
This will take us approximately 4 hours, we'll stop for a comfort break on the way.
It's the final day as you head up the final summit of Snowdon/ Yr Wyddfa and feel the satisfaction of having climbed the three highest peaks in the UK! Well done you.
Starting from Pen-y-Pass, we'll take the Pyg Track to the summit. This route uses good paths and steps, and again it may be rocky in places. Once we reach the summit ridge it's only ten minutes to the summit and what a view! On a clear day, it's epic.
You may be able to grab a drink from the cafe if it's open and there'll be time for a celebratory photo or two. Descend in your own time, soaking up the spectacular views over the Snowdonia/ Eryri National Park and then it's back home to brag about your ascents and hopefully having raised some money if you're walking for charity.
