ADVENTURE BEGIN !
We’ll arrive at our base in Newquay at 6pm Friday evening before driving in convoy to the camp after we’ve met our instructors and fellow adventurers. We'll give you the low down on the weekend so you know what to expect.
The evenings agenda is up to you. Feel free to just chill out and relax under the stars or get involved in axe throwing, woodland games, giant jenga, and even some fire lighting skills... Top it all off with tales around the campfire, toasting marshmallows, or sipping on a cold one. Bring something for dinner if you haven't already eaten.
If travelling by public transport, please get in touch as we’ll be able to arrange a lift for you with either the instructors or your fellow adventurers.
We’ll head back into Newquay after a basic but filling camp breakfast of cereals, fruits & tea/coffee for our first day of activities.
First off, it's straight to the beach to get your surf on. We'll kick off with a short beach session, where you'll learn all about basic safety and technique, or something more advanced depending on your level. Whilst we can't make any promises, our pros manage to get most beginners standing by the end of their first surf lesson. If you've done a bit of surfing before, we can give you some specific goals and instruction for the surf too.
Once the surfing lessons are over, we'll go and grab some food from the local shop before heading back to our woodland camp for afternoon yoga in the open sided barn - the perfect setting to get zen. Again, we can tailor this based on your experience but absolute beginners are totally welcome here.
All nice and chilled, we'll then cook up some grub, have a few drinks, and share some stories around the campfire. The evenings agenda is once again up to you. More games or just relaxing andchilling with a couple of cold ones if you're tired from today's exertions.
Hopefully you had a great night's sleep after all the adventure activities in the Cornish waves and are sold on the merits of a wild camp over a hotel room. Day two kicks off with breaky followed by an energising yoga session in the woodland camp. We'll be opening up the body and relaxing the mind, ready for surfing.
All limbered up, it's back to surf school! We'll jump back in the water to get right back to catching waves, building on where you left off yesterday and taking things at your own pace. After a weekend's surf lessons you'll be sold and we guarantee you'll be plotting your next trip to the North Cornish coast.
What an amazing set up, everything you could want for an evening...a bbq, axe throwing and fire starting. They have worked so hard putting this together. The weekend was then topped off by another fantastic surf lesson

Had an amazing weekend for my friends hen party the team was amazing professional but a great laugh, the camping was a great experience.

Fantastic time surfing, yoga and camping, amazing surroundings, great people and great instructors. Thank you for an awesome weekend!
Iiona, Surfing Cornwall
Myself and 2 friends decided to make the most of the first weekend of eased lockdown restrictions in the UK and head down to Cornwall for a surfing/camping weekend. The team were incredible and their system to comply with social distancing guidelines worked extremely well with small groups going out for the surf lesson and coasteering and all the supplies you would need including hand sanitiser and hand soap provided at the camp. The activities themselves, all I can say is that our instructors are legends. We had the best time

Toiletries:
Miscellaneous:
Surfing – something to wear under your wetsuit. Some flip flops to wear to the beach & a towel
Yoga – warm stretchy thermal top & bottoms, shoes & socks
Wild Camping – Warm clothes, sleeping bag, pillow and your favourite food & drink
The activities take place at a central base in Newquay, which is well served by a rail and bus network.
It's roughly a 15 minute walk through the town from the train station. Newquay airport is a 15-20 minute taxi ride away.
The wild camping is located a short drive out of town - we can help you organise car sharing, or you can get a lift with your camping host
Nope, this is open to all levels including complete beginners.
This is suitable for pretty much everyone so long as you can swim 25 meters in open water.
Hell yer! Around half of those going on our adventures book on alone. This is a great option for solo travellers, couples, and groups. It's a perfect chance to meet likeminded legends.
Groups are usually a mix of ages from 20s right through to 50s.
The bell tents sleep 3-4 people and if you're travelling solo you'll share a tent with like-minded adventurers. If you'd prefer to be on your own it's not a problem - we have tents available for sole occupancy at no extra cost. Be aware though that these are ordinary Vango tents rather than bell tents.
We normally kick off at 9am on Saturday and finish up by 1pm on Sunday so you've not back too late.
Surfing - swimwear for under your wetsuit, shoes to walk to the beach in, and a towel.
Yoga - something comfy that you can easily move in
Wild camping - sleeping bag, some warm clothes, some grub, and drinks.
You'll get a full packing list ahead of the trip.
You'll get to stay on our own wild campsite nestled deep in the Cornish woods on our private land.
We've combined the best parts of getting away from the crowds whilst also creating a base camp to play games, sit around the fire, without the faff of having to bring your own tent and mattresses.
You'll kip out under the stars in a bell tent already kitted out with air bed and pillow.
There's a covered community area to hang out, new gas showers and a composting toilet, so think of it more as wild glamping!
We'll be doing all the activities from our central base in Newquay. Camping is a quick drive from town. You can jump in with us or with one of your adventure pals to get there so no probs - just let us know.
Coasteering and surfing are 2 hours and wild camping usually kicks off around 5 or in the evening until the next morning when we'll head back for the final activity.
Yes, all our trips are for people of 18 years of age and older.
