Day 2 - Surf's up!
After a tasty camp breakfast, we head back to the surf school for the first lesson. We start with an introduction to surfing and our own surf goals with help from the surfing ability measuring iAM bands.
Post-surf, it is time for lunch at one of the many options to choose from. Dine in or grab a pasty and hang out at the school - it's your call. Suitably refreshed, the second surf is more relaxed and less structured, building on our morning success and coaching pointers whilst just having fun and enjoying being in the surf - life's a beach!
Back at camp, it's time for the serious fun to start. The camp's built around a large swimming pond and a games area. So whether it's a giant Jenga challenge, slack-lining, balance boards or even axe throwing, camp life is the best and there's always plenty to do.
When the sun starts to set behind the trees it's time to strike up the BBQ and prepare and share another meal with your fellow surf campers. As the night winds down there's nothing better than a campfire - surfed out and sitting around a fire. Life doesn't get better than this!
Day 3 - Eat, sleep, surf, repeat!
Today's surf lesson is a recap of good general surf principles and honing our individual surfing goals. This session is filmed and we'll take a look at the results and talk through your waves in the afternoon.
For tonight's evening meal, you're free to explore Newquay and soak up a sunset on the beach (fingers crossed for good weather!)
Day 4 - Carry on surfing!
Today starts with a theory session at camp, helping to dispel any myths, answering those burning surf questions or simply explaining the rules of etiquette, board design any anything else which you can think of.
After class, it's time for lunch in Newquay and then it's back in the water for another surf session.
Our final night's meal together is in Newquay in a pre-booked restaurant. It's a great time to share stories of the last few days and make plans for your next surf trip - where's it going to be?
Day 5 - Final surf session and goodbyes
After our final surf session of the week, it's time to say our fond farewells and start to make our journeys home. It's been an epic week of surfing, making new surf buddies and hanging out in the surf capital of the UK.
