Why This Trip is Special
Here are a few reasons why you'll love this adventure as much as we do

The Americas' Highest Summit
At 6,960m, Aconcagua is the highest peak outside Asia and a cornerstone of the Seven Summits. Standing on top means joining a select group who've pushed past the altitude barrier that stops most people — and earning a story that genuinely changes how you see yourself.

Elite Guides, 700+ Combined Summits
Your guides are career Aconcagua mountaineers with decades of experience and over 700 combined summits between them. They know every micro-climate, every wind pattern, and exactly when to push and when to turn around. That judgment is the single biggest factor in whether you reach the top.

Premium Base Camp Infrastructure
Heated dining domes, hot showers, Wi-Fi, reverse osmosis drinking water, and professional chefs cooking proper meals. These aren't luxuries — they're strategic recovery assets that keep your body fuelled and your head right for summit day.

I used the logistics support on a solo trip to Aconcagua. Communication was perfect, logistics were flawless. Their staff is really special — everyone from base camp to Penitentes is awesome. The water is clean and the food is excellent. I went because of a friend's recommendation, and I would go with them again without question.

Is the Aconcagua Challenge Right For You?
Discover if this adventure is right for you
Fitness Level
This is a serious expedition at extreme altitude. You need strong cardiovascular fitness, the ability to carry 18–22kg at altitude, and the endurance for 8–12 hour summit day. Think heavy-pack hill walks, not gym sessions.
Adventure Experience
Prior high-altitude experience above 5,000m is strongly recommended — Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, or similar. You don't need technical climbing skills for the Normal Route, but you do need to know how your body handles altitude and multi-day expedition life.
Altitude Tolerance
You'll spend over a week above 4,000m and summit day takes you to nearly 7,000m. The acclimatisation protocol is thorough, but altitude affects everyone differently. Previous experience above 5,000m gives you a much better idea of how you'll respond.
Mental Resilience
Aconcagua is a mental game as much as a physical one. Bad weather days, broken sleep at altitude, and the relentless wind test your patience. The people who summit are the ones who stay calm, trust the process, and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Worried about the altitude?
Good — that means you're taking it seriously. Altitude is the number one challenge on Aconcagua, and it humbles even very fit, experienced climbers. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.
Here's why this itinerary stacks the odds in your favour:
- Extra acclimatisation days at Confluencia and Plaza de Mulas that most operators skip
- Daily pulse oximeter monitoring so your guides catch problems early
- Flexible pacing — the schedule adapts to how the group is responding, not the other way around
- Emergency oxygen and medical support on-site
- Guides with 700+ combined summits who make ego-free turnaround decisions
You can't eliminate altitude risk entirely — nobody can. But you can choose an itinerary and a team that gives you the best possible chance. That's what this is.

What our adventurers say
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the entire staff at each camp. The food was outstanding — delicious, hearty, and always thoughtfully prepared. Special recognition to our guide, Jorge, whose expertise, motivation, and good humour truly set him apart. The climb itself was demanding, with Aconcagua's notorious weather throwing plenty of surprises, but the sense of achievement each day made every challenge worthwhile. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering this epic adventure.
Justin Daniels
An amazing experience! The staff were extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and provided excellent customer service. Our mountain guide's expertise, experience and professionalism made us feel safe at all times. Compared with other expedition experiences, this one stood out for the service, people, and overall organisation. I would not hesitate to choose them again.
