Why This Trip is Special
Here are a few reasons why you'll love this adventure as much as we do

Trek one of the world's most iconic peaks
Stand on the roof of Africa at 5,895m. This is more than just a trek; it's a journey to the summit of the highest freestanding mountain in the world, an achievement that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Experience the quieter, more scenic Lemosho route
We take the path less travelled. The 8-day Lemosho route offers a higher success rate due to its excellent acclimatisation profile, allowing you to walk "pole, pole" (slowly, slowly) and enjoy the journey. You'll traverse diverse landscapes, from lush rainforest to the alpine desert, maximising your chances of a successful summit.

Climb with the best local guides
Your crew are the heart and soul of this adventure. With years of experience, their priority is your safety and success. They are expert motivators, trained to monitor your health and ensure you have the best possible chance of reaching the summit, all while sharing their deep knowledge of the mountain.

What travelers say about Emmanuel
I had an absolutely amazing experience climbing Kilimanjaro. Extremely knowledgeable and professional guides who could tell us all about the geography, geology and history of the country and Kilimanjaro region. Jeremiah was our team chef who cooked wonderful food throughout. With their expertise me and my friend managed to summit and more importantly come back down safely. If you want to climb Kilimanjaro this is the team for you.

I liked how there was someone to talk to who was in the UK and was able to advise on the trip. I had a fantastic experience and everything was taken care of from the moment I landed in Tanzania. The hotel was nice and the tour guide was amazing, as was the entire team during the whole experience. This was definitely one of the best experiences of my life and I will definitely be booking more trips with call to adventure! The Kilimanjaro trek was amazing, all I had to do was turn up with my kit, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the whole thing was, I usually have terrible experiences booking things but I can honestly say the whole thing was seamless, everything went to plan and I had no issues at all! Thank you for helping me to achieve a life goal!

Is the Kilimanjaro Challenge Right For You?
Discover if this adventure is right for you
Are you fit enough?
This is a significant physical undertaking, but you don't need to be a marathon runner. The key is endurance. If you can comfortably hike for 5-6 hours on varied terrain, you're on the right track. The best training is simply walking, ideally on hills, for long durations. Summit night is tough, but it's more of a mental battle than a physical one. Our guides will prepare you for this, but your own determination is what will get you to the top.
Ready for a digital detox?
You'll be off-grid for over a week. This is a chance to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself and nature. There's no WiFi, limited phone signal, and no electricity to charge your devices (bring a power bank!). It's a rare opportunity to be truly present. The reward is waking up to incredible mountain vistas and falling asleep under a sky full of stars.
Can you handle basic camping?
Life on the mountain is simple. You'll be sleeping in a tent for 7 nights. While our crew makes it as comfortable as possible (hello, private toilet tent!), it's still camping at high altitude. It gets cold, the ground is hard, and the weather can be challenging. A positive attitude and a willingness to embrace the rustic nature of the adventure are essential. It's all part of the experience that makes the final achievement so sweet.
But what about the altitude?
It's the biggest worry for every Kilimanjaro climber, and rightly so. The honest answer is that altitude can affect anyone, regardless of fitness. But here's why you don't need to be afraid. Our 8-day itinerary is the single most effective tool against altitude sickness. By giving your body an extra day to acclimatise, we drastically increase your chances of feeling great and reaching the top. Our guides are experts in managing altitude. They will enforce a slow 'pole, pole' pace, ensure you're eating and drinking enough, and conduct twice-daily health checks to monitor your oxygen levels and wellbeing. Your safety is their absolute priority.

What our adventurers say
Extremely knowledgeable and professional guides who told us about the geography, geology and history of the region, Jeremiah cooked wonderful food, and we managed to summit and return safely.
Robert
I decided to do the Lemosho route to minimize the risk of altitude sickness. The leading guide and his ‘dream team’ were supportive, experienced, and maintained a positive vibe.
