Who Travels With Us

Your Toubkal + Sahara Trek Team

Small groups

6–12 typically

Lively but intimate — big enough for momentum, small enough to feel personal.

Solo travellers welcome

Over half join solo

You’ll fit right in — guides are great at bringing the team together.

Typical age range

25–55 (with some either side)

What matters most is attitude, not age.

Is the Toubkal + Sahara Trek Challenge Right For You?

Discover if this adventure is right for you

Fitness level

Couch worshiperBig days on foot

Non-technical, but summit day is a proper shift (9–11 hours).

Simple vs. luxury

I like it simpleAll the fluff

Clean, comfy riads/guesthouses, a mountain hut night, and a luxury desert camp.

Group vibe

Do my own thingTeam energy

Small groups, friendly pace and easy camaraderie.

Remoteness

Near a flat whiteOff‑grid

Proper mountain terrain and desert dunes; limited signal in places.

How to Prepare
•Build steady hillwalking endurance (back-to-back 6–8 hr days if possible) • Break-in boots; don’t debut new footwear on summit day • Practice with trekking poles for long descents • Train with a 6–8 kg daypack on stairs/hills • Hydrate well; bring electrolytes (altitude + heat can dehydrate quickly) • Pack layers for range: cool mountain mornings to warm desert afternoons • Headtorch with spare batteries for the pre-dawn start • Nov–Mar: crampons and ice axe required - hire when booking or on site

The smarter way to finish Morocco

Many itineraries finish with a 9–10 hour drive back to Marrakech. We don’t. You’ll overnight near Ait Benhaddou, soak up sunset when the day‑trippers are gone, then cruise back the next day.

Result? You arrive home rested, not wrecked — and your final memory is a golden ksar, not a bus window.

No marathon transfers
We split the route sensibly — better culture, better energy, better end to the trip.
